Do You Wanna Host Your Own Website

To host your own website, you need to make some arrangements. The first thing you need to look for is an Internet Service Provider (ISP). You also need the right hardware and software to fit the bill.

Here are the following requirements, that you need to meet before you are able to host your own website.

An Internet connection:
The speed of this connection should be high. At the low end, an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) or Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) and a super high-speed T1 line will cost you around $200 and several thousand dollars a month respectively.

IP addresses for your server:
Internet Protocol (IP) addresses identify a computer to the rest of the Internet. You'll have to get an authorized set of addresses from your ISP.

A domain name:
A domain name makes your website easy to find for the general public. You can get a registered domain name usually for less than $15 a year.

A web server and a computer:
A web server runs your web site. And a computer runs the server. The Apache server is quite popular among the hosts. It will cost you anywhere between $500 to $2000.

A webmaster:
You need a web master to run your server. He must have the technical skill to keep your site running smoothly.

Once, you have collected these things, it will be very easy for you to launch your own web site. Best of Luck!!!
